RUSTIC BBQ WEDDING AT GILBERT LAKE, LAURENS NY – THOMAS AND CHAUNCEY

The drive up to Laurens, NY was probably one of the most relaxing pre-wedding drives I've had so far! The rolling hills and farmland of Upstate New York is unparalleled, but as I neared Laurens, the storm clouds started to loom over head. When I pulled into Gilbert Lake it was pouring, but luckily for us, it lasted about 15 minutes and we were blessed with great weather for the remainder of the day!
Thomas and Chauncey's story is absolutely adorable! Thomas grew up in New York, moved to Texas in college where he started to work on a ranch. There he met Chauncey and their love story started.
They made the 2,000 mile trek from Corpus Christi, TX to Laurens, NY, the place where Thomas spent many childhood summers, to celebrate their marriage with their closet family and friends.
To say their families were some of the friendliest and warmest people I've had the pleasure of spending a day with is an understatement. The outpouring of love everyone had for these two was so amazing and truly warmed my heart.
